About Us
Spray foam insulation Victoria is a family owned and operated company based in Victoria. We also service South Australia and as far north as Canberra. We specialize in environmentally friendly, polyurethane spray foam insulation for both commercial and home insulation, with over 20 years of experience and thousands of happy customers you can be assured you are in the right hands.
What Is Spray Foam Insulation?
Often called expanding foam or spray insulation, spray foam insulation is a type of polyurethane foam that is a combination of two liquids. When combined, they quickly expand to over 30 times the original volume, filling all gaps, crevices, and voids before curing into a durable, lightweight foam. Spray foam insulation adheres tightly to surfaces like wood framing, plywood, pipes, and electrical cables, creating a virtually airtight seal that prevents air infiltration, while it is aerated. Reduced energy consumption and environmental impact.
Under Floor Insulation

Here at Spray Foam Insulation Victoria our most common type of jobs is providing under floor insulation. If your home has at least 500mm worth of clearence from the ground to the joists, then spray foam insulation is your one stop solution for those drafty timber floor boards. 35% of heating & cooling is lost through a uninsulated timber floor, spray foam also adds a reduction in acoustics. Fibre batts are a haven for pests and rodents whereas spray foam adheres to the timber substrate supplying a complete air tight seal. Spray foam underfloor insulation does not need any fixing materials, unlike batts, as it adheres to your wood or concrete floor. It fills cracks and cavities forming a continuous air barrier, Thus it eliminates drafts while providing amazing insulating performance. Long lasting and once installed, spray foam does not shrink, settle or disintegrate, Unlike most conventional insulation materials, it maintains its efficiency with no loss of R-value over the life of the building. Feel the difference underfoot. See the difference in your energy bills! Some benefits include...
-
Achieve R-value of 2.4 per inch or more when applied underneath timber floors.
-
Reduces pest nesting.
-
Save money
-
Environmentally friendly,
-
Reduce greenhouse emissions.
-
Does not require any support as it adheres directly to the underfloor. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions.
Our Products And Their Benefits

The solid nature inhibits the ingress of insects plus many other benefits.

Open Cell
Spray Foam Insulation Victoria uses a product called “AUSFOAM 10” supplied by Australian company, “Pacific Urethanes" developed locally, exported to the world and providing Australian jobs.
“AUSFOAM 10” is a semi-rigid ‘open’ cell polyurethane spray foam system specifically formulated to provide a highly Flame Retardant Spray Foam System. We use this product in all our projects requiring an open cell foam solution both residential and commercial.
Not only does Ausfoam 10 have a high R value, it has the noted benefit of ceasing air infiltration that allows heat to escape and cold air to penetrate. Thus reducing ever increasing heating and cooling fuel costs and lowering the output of ‘Green house gases.
This sealing feature also stops dust and air borne particles which is a huge benefit for those who suffer from respiratory conditions like asthma and allergies. Ausfoam 10 has the competitive above other spray foams on the Australian market because not only does it comply with AS 1530.3 – 1999 (Fire hazard properties) it has been subject to rigorous testing. Ausfoam 10 complies with the Australian Standards/Building Code Australia standards and all test reports can be issued on request.
Unlike other insulation products, Ausfoam 10 will self adhere and remain intact with no requirement for additional support systems.
Sprayfoam has been in use with great success in the U.S.A and Canada for many years. In particular in Canada with their harsh winter conditions, it has proved time and time again to be the choice of designers and government departments to become the market leader in its field.

Closed Cell
Spray Foam Insulation Victoria uses a product called “Rigid 3-36” a product supplied by Australian company, "Pacific Urethanes”.
Rigid 3-36 is a low density rigid polyurethane Closed Cell Foam System uniquely developed to provide a highly flame retarded foam insulation system. It is has been developed for use in commercial, industrial wall and ceiling insulation applications where the foam is applied into stud work or framed construction. Some Benefits Include

-
Rigid 3-36 Has high R-value per inch – (open-cell 3.5 per inch and closed-cell 6.0 per inch)
-
Eliminates air infiltration
-
Helps control moisture and condensation
-
Reduces convective currents in walls and attics
-
Eliminates wind washing
-
Effective at low and high temperatures
-
Provides the correct environment so that the ventilation system performs more efficiently
Closed cell foams are most commonly used in sheds/shipping containers as the act as a moisture barrier. By reducing air leakage in a building to an absolute minimum & providing superior insulation qualities, the size and cost of heating and cooling equipment can be lowered. Energy savings can be reduced as high as 40% when compared with conventionally insulated buildings. High energy bills, could be a thing of the past!
